Jeune Perché Wedding | San Diego's Newest Luxury Wedding Venue
I've been a San Diego wedding photographer for over twenty years, and now and then, I come across a new wedding venue. I always get excited to photograph in new venues, as it's a whole new opportunity to be creative, find new angles, and have new ideas. Jake and Liz's wedding was my first time photographing a Jeune Perché wedding. I was pleasantly surprised by this new Fallbrook venue.
Fallbrook is home to many wedding venues, and it's a place I often visit for weddings. I've been going to places like Los Willows and Grand Tradition to photograph weddings for many years now, so it's very fun to get to know a newly designed wedding venue like Jeune Perché in the area.
I'm always sure to speak with my clients before the wedding to be on the same page about everything. I also prefer to go over the timeline, so I can answer any questions or concerns the clients might have. When I spoke with Jake and Liz on the phone, I could tell they had a lot in mind for their Jeune Perché wedding. So, I suggested a first look before the wedding, to ensure we had plenty of time to accomplish everything they wanted.
The day started with some getting-ready shots for Jake and Liz at Jeune Perché. They had a small bridal party helping them, but everyone was having a lot of fun. Once everyone was ready, it was time for the bride and groom to see each other for the first time. Jake faced away while Gabby came down the stairs. They had a beautiful and emotional moment seeing each other in their wedding attire.
We moved to the courtyard for some bridal party and family photos. Everyone was very helpful, and things moved quickly. It gives us plenty of time to walk around the house for some romantic portraits of the bride and groom, which is something I knew Liz was very excited to do.
We started at the courtyard and moved inside the living room at Jeune Perché for some classic photos. The decor of the room added to the elegance of the bride and groom and Liz's long veil helped me create some timeless shots of the couple.
The guests started to arrive at Jeune Perché for the wedding ceremony, and it was time to send the couple back into their suite. I always enjoy when couples opt for a first look and some pre-wedding photos. It helps to get a lot done before the guests arrive.
My first Jeune Perché wedding ceremony did not disappoint! It was an emotional ceremony, and everyone seemed very happy to witness Liz and Jake tie the knot. The couple timed it perfectly, and the sun was setting behind the mountains in Fallbrook while the ceremony was happening. An emotional and happy couple, a beautiful setup, and perfect lighting are all I could ask for this day. I couldn't be happier to witness and document Liz and Jake's wedding.
After the ceremony ended, we finalized the family photos. We took the opportunity to create more bride and groom portraits, this time by the wedding arch. Jake and Liz had one of the most beautiful wedding arches I have ever seen. It added a unique touch to their ceremony pictures and bride and groom's portraits.
Once we finished the bride and groom portraits, the couple was ready to join their guests at cocktail hour and finally say hello to their guests. Everyone was thrilled to see the bride and groom arrive.
The cocktail hour concluded, and guests were directed to the Jeune Perché reception area. Everyone seemed stunned by the beauty of the reception, and ready to eat and party. After a short welcome speech, it was time for dinner.
After dinner and speeches, the DJ let loose, and everyone was dancing and having fun, especially the bride and groom. A lot of dancing, drinking, and laughing happened throughout the night, and Liz and Jake were extremely happy celebrating with their loved ones.
The evening was coming to an end, but this Jeune Perché wedding wouldn't be complete without a grand exit from the bride and groom. All guests were aligned, sparkles lit up, and the bride and groom waved goodbye, and slowly thanked their guests for coming to their wedding celebration.
I felt very accomplished at my first Jeune Perché wedding, and above all happy to see the clients so enthusiastic about their day. I wish Liz and Jake the happiest marriage. Hopefully, the photos we created together will be great memories of this incredible day!
About the venue:
Jeune Perché is a brand new San Diego wedding venue that has been very popular among brides and grooms this past year. It's a European-inspired wedding venue located in Fallbrook. It offers everything the modern and stylish bride and groom could ask for.
Jeune Perché allows the bride and groom to spend the entire day on the property, offering separate, stylish suites for the bride and groom to get ready, a unique and spacious ceremony site for around 200 guests, an outdoor reception area, and full access to the main house.
The getting-ready suites for brides and grooms are incredible. They are spacious and well equipped with everything needed for the wedding preparation. Even if the bride and groom have a large entourage, the suites work well. Plenty of natural light comes in through the windows, making it ideal for photography and video.
The ceremony site is my favorite part of Jeune Perché weddings. It's an outdoor area at a lower part of the property featuring a white concrete archway. Green, empty hills serve as the background, and, if time is right, a beautiful sunset behind the mountains. Vast isles and green grass complete the perfect setting at the Jeune Perché ceremony location. The minimalist structure offers the perfect scenario for any wedding ceremony.
After Jeune Perché's wedding ceremonies, the guests are usually directed to the courtyard for cocktail hour. Once again, it's a great space for the guests to transition from the wedding ceremony to the reception while enjoying a cocktail and some appetizers. Guests can also tour the main house and walk to the balcony, where they can peek at the reception decoration on the other side of the house.
The reception site at Jeune Perché is large and can accommodate different wedding styles. With green grass and fresh drapery, it can accommodate around 200 guests, making it the perfect place even for bigger celebrations. French-style furniture and beautiful chandeliers blended with natural Fallbrook hills complete the environment, along with a perfectly placed sweetheart table for the couple.
Jeune Perché is also a unique place to shoot bride and groom portraits. It's something that is often not taken into consideration when venues are made. At Jeune Perché you can tell that it was very well projected. Whether you're looking for classic photos or have a more modern taste for portraits, Jeune Perché can be the perfect place.
The main house's living room is an interesting setup for timeless portraits. It features a round staircase, wooden floors and doors, exquisite European-style furniture, chandeliers, and a beautiful piano. Glass doors allow for a lot of light, making it the perfect setup for some classic portraits.
The courtyard in front of the house is also an optimal location for photos. It works well for bride and groom portraits, family, and even bridal party photos. It's nice and shaded, even earlier in the day, allowing everyone to stay fresh. Considering that taking a large group of people down to the ceremony site could be difficult for pre-ceremony photos, the courtyard could be perfect for the bride and groom's first look and everything needed before the ceremony. And, of course, more family and bridal party photos can be done after the Jeune Perché wedding ceremony.
The ceremony site is also a prime location for romantic portraits of the newlyweds. Whether you use the white archway or just the raw nature, the ceremony site gives the perfect environment to complete the portrait collection. It's the ideal complement for the indoor and courtyard photos.
Aside from those locations, I enjoyed some night pictures at their exquisite pink bar on the side of the house. It's a perfect spot for casual, more candid photos of the couple during the reception.
Jeune Perché is one of the few San Diego wedding venues to allow outdoor catering services. Most venues have a catering service and don't allow the bride and groom to bring other food vendors. While this brings more work for the couple, it allows for a more custom experience. Jeune Perché is one of the few venues that does not sell alcohol and lets the couples bring their own. It helps bring the wedding cost down, permitting the bride and groom to spend money on different aspects of their celebration.
All that makes Jeune Perché one of my favorite San Diego wedding venues. If you have a Jeune Perché wedding coming up, I would love to chat with you!
