The preparation was so laid back, there was no tension at all. They rented a beautiful house in the woods where they got ready. In the meantime, everybody else hung out and
The driveway was the perfect place for the couples’ first look. There were pine trees in the background, framing the couple’s poses perfectly.
When everybody was ready, we headed to Monastery Beach. The ceremony was private and intimate. The entire entourage walked across the aisle barefoot. This made the entire affair even more heartwarming and inspiring.

The date jar was a great addition to the décor. Basically, it allowed guests to share great date ideas the couple could consider. A lot of the engagement photos I took were also on display.
The night ended with a lot of dancing. They also had a fun photo booth where everybody got to wear unicorn heads, horse heads, and other quirky props.
This was definitely worth the drive. It’s one of those events that makes me remember why I became a California wedding photographer
