Luce Loft Wedding with Peter & Mary Beth
Grown to love – this is the theme of this Luce Loft wedding. Both of them foodies, Peter and Mary Beth opted to let their love for food play a significant role in their wedding – particularly during the reception. Their choice of Luce Loft as a venue couldn’t be better. It was the perfect place to celebrate their special day with the people they love the most.
The festivities of the day on this Luce Loft wedding started at the luxurious US Grant Hotel where Mary Beth had the time of her life getting ready with her bridal entourage. Pops of blue and orange were everywhere – from the entourage’s floral robes to the bridesmaids’ dresses and shoes. Meanwhile, Peter, his kids, and his groomsmen were getting ready at his place. The same color motif was also prevalent in the groom’s corner with blue and orange neck and bow ties. The couple’s chosen color theme was indeed spot on as the combination brought out happy vibes throughout the day.
Before the official ceremony at this Luce Loft wedding, Peter and Mary Beth had a lovely pre-wedding shoot at Balboa Park, an urban cultural park here in San Diego. The open space and lush greenery of the park served as a stunning backdrop to the couple’s sweet, calm moments before the main event.
After spending a short “just us” time together, we headed to the picturesque Cuvier Park in La Jolla. The couple decided on an intimate wedding ceremony near a cliff overlooking the blue Pacific Ocean. With the help of their wedding coordinator, Amorology Weddings, Peter and Mary Beth were wed under a unique rectangular arch with inverted flowers hanging atop. Standing at both ends of the couple is their wedding entourage.
After the ceremony, the Luce Loft wedding commenced. We all headed to this spacious, charming venue that was transformed into a Parisian style industrial market. Amorology Weddings made the couple’s dream into reality with a stylish foodie themed reception. Baskets of produce were subtly scattered all over the venue. Pops of orange were everywhere with vibrant carrots, delightful orange flowers, and even orange blossom macaroons. Making the event extra fun, the tables were named after the couple’s favorite fruits and veggies.
The wedding party started with Peter and Mary Beth enjoying their first dance as husband and wife. After this, guests started to bust their moves. Kids even breakdanced and flipped here and there. The couple exited the venue with their loved ones lined up holding sparklers. They then rode away in a “Just Married” bike cab.
