San Diego Engagement Photographer with Ben + Robin
Any San Diego Engagement photographer will agree – engagement sessions are no less important than wedding shoots. Think of it as an official announcement. It shows the whole world that these two people have decided to share the rest of their lives with each other. It sets the tone on who they will be as a married couple as well. And for Ben and Robin, it’s evident that they’re going to rock as a Mr. and Mrs.
The engagement session started with a tour around North Park, their neighborhood. I got the chance to see a few of their favorite spots. They grabbed a few beers at their favorite local bar. We stopped by their favorite coffee place, too. They really knew the ins and outs of the area. This was, of course, a huge advantage. The locations they suggested all turned out to be perfect for their portrait shots.
We got to take a look back into their history as a couple when we visited UCSD. They went to school here together, and the visit brought back so many memories for them. The architecture here was just amazing. I even found a favorite among all the buildings we saw – Geisel Library. It was beautifully built and gave us quite a few mesmerizing shots.
Like any other San Diego engagement photographer, I’m a sucker for great lighting. This is exactly what we got from the nice trees on our way out of the campus. The tress filtered the sun perfectly! It definitely gave us breathtaking results.
We headed straight to Sunset Cliffs, and we were right on time for an awesome sunset. It was just the thing we needed to cap off an amazing day.
I definitely enjoyed being Ben and Robin’s San Diego engagement photographer. This makes me even more excited to see what amazing shots we can come up with on their wedding. It’s going to be at Twin Oaks Garden in San Marcos! It’s one of my favorite venues, and I can’t wait to take more pictures of them.
Their awesome San Marcos wedding is also on the blog! Don’t forget to check it out.
They met at UCSD, and went back to campus for an epic engagement session
